High‑rise and multi‑residential projects demand façade systems capable of addressing wind loading, water penetration, acoustic separation, and constructability at height, while maintaining consistency across large building envelopes.
Sector Experience
Façade, window, and door systems tailored to the performance, compliance, and delivery requirements of different building sectors.
Different building sectors impose different performance, compliance, and delivery requirements. Façade systems must respond not only to architectural intent, but also to occupancy type, exposure, durability expectations, and construction methodology.
Hunter Windows supports a range of commercial and high‑end sectors, working with architects, builders, and developers to align façade solutions to sector‑specific risks, regulations, and project constraints from early specification through delivery.

Sectors We Support
Our experience spans multiple sectors, each with distinct performance drivers and regulatory considerations.
Education & Public Buildings
Façade systems designed for education and public buildings, with a focus on safety, durability, compliance, and long‑term performance in high‑use institutional environments.
Aged Care
Façade systems designed for aged care environments, prioritising occupant comfort, safety, compliance, and long‑term operational performance.
Industrial & Logistics
Façade systems designed for industrial and logistics environments, focusing on durability, weather resistance, compliance, and operational performance.
Retail & Shopping Centres
Façade systems designed for retail and shopping centre environments, balancing visibility, durability, compliance, and public interface requirements.
Architectural Homes
Façade, window, and door systems designed for bespoke architectural homes, supporting custom detailing, elevated performance, and design intent.
Sector‑Specific Considerations
While façade systems may share common components, sector requirements vary significantly. Key considerations often include:
- Occupancy type and regulatory obligations
- Acoustic and thermal performance expectations
- Exposure, durability, and maintenance requirements
- Interface coordination and construction sequencing
- Compliance with relevant Australian Standards and NCC provisions
Early alignment between sector requirements and façade system selection helps reduce risk and improve build outcomes.
Performance, Compliance & Delivery
Across all sectors, façade performance is central to long‑term building outcomes. Our approach considers:
- Structural performance and wind loading
- Weather resistance and water management
- Thermal and acoustic performance
- Relevant Australian Standards and NCC requirements
- Buildability, staging, and interface coordination
Detailed testing, certification, and performance information is available within our Resources section.
